CoreFreq for ArchLinux

Installation

Check or Install the prerequisite development packages

pacman -S gcc make linux-headers git fakeroot dkms

Clone the CoreFreq package from the Arch User Repository

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/corefreq-git.git

Change to the package directory then Install CoreFreq

cd corefreq-git
makepkg -si

Starting instructions will be printed at the end of a successful build

Run

Load the driver corefreqk , next start the daemon corefreqd

Now you can start the Client:

corefreq-cli

Unload from memory

Stop the CoreFreq daemon , next unload the driver

Uninstallation

Uninstall the package (optionally, make sure of package name before proceeding)
